Milan Morris used her prom dress to honor Trayvon Martin and the Black Lives Matter movement

• Florida high schooler Milan Morris and designer Terrence Torrence knew they wanted to make a statement at the Pahokee High School prom in Pahokee, Florida. But rather than go for just some extra glitz and glam, the two worked on a dress armed with a powerful statement on police brutality, its victims and the Black Lives Matter Movement.
• To prom this year, Morris, 17, arrived in a black lace dress covered with a collage of faces of just some of the most famous victims of police brutality, including Trayvon Martin, Sandra Bland and Michael Brown.

Ah tumblr shows its true face when tearing down a 17 year old girl about her prom dress. Did you guys ever think why she tagged these big names? Yes it is to be noticed but not for the damn reasons you think. She hopes for her message to go viral to see these black individuals are not and will never be forgotten. She hoped those big names may reblog or retweet it out to their followers snd they share it to get the fucking conversation kerp going. It’s obvious Tumblr gives two shits about the “Black Lives Matter” movement and just want to be fucking noticed. This girl gives a damn and was convoying a message.
